Welcome to Jarrell High School (JHS)!  In my role as principal, I work with supportive families, a strong  community, and dedicated staff that is committed to providing the best education for each Cougar student.  The faculty and staff at Jarrell High School take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.  The individual needs of students are met through the refinement of research-based educational programs.  Our goal is to aid our students in becoming lifelong, independent learners and respectful citizens.

At JHS we set high goals and expectations for the staff, the students, and I do the same for myself.

FCCLA Moving on to State

Several of our FCCLA students competed at the Region V Meeting that was held in Corpus Christi and are now moving on to compete at the State level in April. Below is a list of students and their accomplishments.

1st / $3,000 scholarship - Nora Garza - serving up success

JHS Baccalaureate & Graduation 2017

The JHS Baccalaureate Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church-Walburg on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 7:00pm.
JHS Commencement Exercises will be held at the Mayborn Campus Center @ The University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:00am. The doors will open for graduates and parents at 8:45am. Please see attached map for directions. If you have any further questions please call the High School office at 512-746-2188.

COUGARS ADVANCE TO AREA WITH VICTORY OVER MAYPEARL

jarrell Cougars defeated Maypearl Friday night in Area Boys' Basketball, 71-61. With the victory they advance to Regional Quarter Finals to face Malakoff. Tip off will be at 7:00 PM at West High School Gymnasium in West, Texas.
