Welcome to Jarrell High School (JHS)!  In my role as principal, I work with supportive families, a strong  community, and dedicated staff that is committed to providing the best education for each Cougar student.  The faculty and staff at Jarrell High School take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.  The individual needs of students are met through the refinement of research-based educational programs.  Our goal is to aid our students in becoming lifelong, independent learners and respectful citizens.

GIRLS SOCCER GAME @ WACO CONNALLY CANCELED

Due due the cold that blew in yesterday afternoon with single digit wind chill factors predicted for today and this evening, the scrimmage with Waco Connally has been canceled.

JANUARY - School Board Recognition Month

We express our gratitude to the Jarrell ISD School Board All-Star Team: Ken Bovio, Sue Lofland, Michael Cosimeno, Tookie Mullen, Marvin Musil, Bobby Rogers, and Nate Smith.

JHS 2015-2016 Texas School Report Card

The Texas School Report Card includes the following information for each campus:


· 2016 state academic accountability rating
· Campus distinction designations
· Attendance rates
· Enrollment figures
· Dropout rates
· Class size averages
· State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) results
· ACT/SAT results
· Per-student financial expenditures

Final Exam Week Schedule

Semester Final Exams will be held December 14th-16th. All students, NO MATTER WHAT, must come for the 10:05am "1st period" time to count for their attendance, even if they are exempt from all classes on a specific day. If students DO NOT, they will NOT get exemptions next semester. Please see attached schedule.
