Welcome to Jarrell High School (JHS)!  In my role as principal, I work with supportive families, a strong  community, and dedicated staff that is committed to providing the best education for each Cougar student.  The faculty and staff at Jarrell High School take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.  The individual needs of students are met through the refinement of research-based educational programs.  Our goal is to aid our students in becoming lifelong, independent learners and respectful citizens.

You may also keep up with academic awards, events, programs, trips, and athletic events that are happening at JHS by going to the JHS website or Jarrell High School Facebook page.

Jarrell ISD has a Facebook page & JISD has a Twitter & Instagram account you may follow, if you'd like to as well!

At JHS we set high goals and expectations for the staff, the students, and I do the same for myself.

Thank you for allowing us to nurture and educate your child.  Jarrell High School has always been, and will continue to be, a great place to be!

Proud to be a Cougar,

Mrs. Lindsie O'Neill Almquist, Proud Principal
