Welcome to Jarrell High School (JHS)!  In my role as principal, I work with supportive families, a strong  community, and dedicated staff that is committed to providing the best education for each Cougar student.  The faculty and staff at Jarrell High School take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.  The individual needs of students are met through the refinement of research-based educational programs.  Our goal is to aid our students in becoming lifelong, independent learners and respectful citizens.

ACC Dual Credit Information Night

There will be an ACC Dual Credit Information Night on Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:00pm in the JHS Cafeteria. If you are interested in taking dual credit courses your Junior and Senior year, please make plans to attend this information session. If you have any questions please contact Jane Wrinkle at 512-746-2188 ext 4005.


The Lady Cougars defeated the West Lady Trojans and will meet Teague for Area in Waco at the McLennan Community College (1400 College Dr., Waco) on Friday, February 17th at 6:30 PM.


The Lady Cougars of Jarrell and the Lady Eagles of Rogers are tied for 3rd Place in District 20AAA. The tie-breaker will be played Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Salado High School Gymnasium @ 8:00 PM following the Salado Eagles boys game. Admission will be $4.00 for Adults and $2.00 for Students. District, Senior and coaches passes will be accepted.

FCCLA Moving on to State

Several of our FCCLA students competed at the Region V Meeting that was held in Corpus Christi and are now moving on to compete at the State level in April. Below is a list of students and their accomplishments.
