Jarrell ISD Load A Bus

This year we will be hosting our 1st Annual Load A Bus BBQ Cook Off that will be held on December 2-3 at the Jarrell American Legion Hall. We are asking all BBQ cookers to enter the cook off, however, if you are not a cooker we are in need of judges for the delicious foods the cookers will be turning in. All donations of toys to the Load A Bus are greatly appreciated. To sign up or for more details please call 512-845-0939.

JHS Winter Spectacular

Our Winter Spectacular is Nov 30th at 6 pm with our Mighty JHS Band performing; then, our first ever musical, Godspell, will be immediately after, brought to you by JHS Choir & Theatre. Email Jacob.abrams@jarrellisd.org for any questions!

The State Cross Country Meet is Saturday, November 12 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Natalie Mason will run at 2:40 and Tagen Adkins will run at 3:10. Please come support our students.

JHS Interact Club Canned Food Drive

The Jarrell High School Interact Club will be holding a canned goods drive from November 1-17, 2016. It will benefit the Jarrell Community Food Pantry and Clothes Closet. The food pantry is located at First United Methodist Church, 404 1st Street, Jarrell, Tx 76537.
The food pantry serves 350-400 individuals per month of all ages in the community.

Senior Night Balloon Release

At the end of the game on November 4th, any and ALL Seniors are invited to meet at the goal line (opposite of the scoreboard) with their families/loved ones to participate in our first Balloon Release for all Seniors!
All materials being used are environmentally friendly.

Baylor Scott and White to Meet with Students

On Thursday. October 27th during Advisory, The Chief of Staff with Baylor Scott and White will be here to visit with students who are interested in the medical field. Please plan to attend...lots of great information about growing career fields and educational needs will be shared...as well as how to attain scholarships in the medical area. The meeting will be held in the JHS Cafeteria.

On Wednesday, October 19th all students that have registered for the PSAT test will need to report to the back gym at 8:30am. You may bring your own calculator but a calculator is not required to answer the questions on the PSAT. Pencils will be provided. The test is approximately three and a half hours. If you have any questions, please stop by the counselor office to ask prior to test day.
