In my role as principal, I work with supportive families, a strong community, and dedicated staff that are committed to providing the best education for each Cougar student. At JHS we set high goals and expectations for the staff, the students, and I do the same for myself. The faculty and staff at Jarrell High School take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment. The individual needs of students are met through the refinement of research-based educational programs. Our goal is to aid our students in becoming lifelong, independent learners and respectful citizens.

I attended Texas A&M for my undergraduate degree in which I was honored to teach after graduating. I attended Texas State University for my masters while teaching. Since graduating from their amazing Educational Leadership program, I have served as a campus leader. I am a proud mom, wife, and educational leader where I am a member of the Jarrell Community Coalition, Texas Association of Latino Administrators (TALAS) Cohort 4, and Zion Children Program Committee. I am honored to serve as co-leader of the Central Texas Leadership Consortium (CTLC) and a part of the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Board of Directors. I am a doctoral student at The University of Texas Cooperative Superintendency Program (CSP) Cohort 28 and the 2018 Principal of the Year for TASSP Region 13. I was humbled to be selected to attend Harvard in 2015 through the phenomenal Raise Your Hand Texas organization (raiseyourhandtexas.org); I now serve as an Alumni Regional Director supporting principals with campus improvement work.
At my time as Principal at JHS we have developed and started Engineer Your World, The Choice Academy, Robotics, Principles of Applied Engineering, Computer Programming, and improving our programs for English Learners (ELs) and social-emotional needs. We have a triad support counseling model, where our students are served by a Social Worker, College & Career Coordinator, and Counselor along with our Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). We have established our AP classes for Spanish 4, Biology, Physics, and Calculus. We have worked to establish our fine arts, Career & Technology Education (CTE) programs, and clubs to support our amazing students.
Thank you for allowing us to nurture and educate your child. Jarrell High School has always been, and will continue to be, a great place to be!
Proud to be a Cougar,
